Victory Number Two for West Park Navy

By Aidan Beedie (Football Correspondent) with help from Dad.

Grangemouth came to a very windy Bishopbriggs on Saturday. West Park started well with some great passing. Calum came close twice early on but it was Grangemouth who scored first. Aidan got finger tips to the ball but couldn't keep it out of the net. On 20 minutes West Park equalised through Josh. The half ended 1:1.
Nathan and Ross replaced Calum and Jack for the second half. Nathan quickly made an impact by blasting it in to the net after 5 minutes. Shortly afterwards Josh scored his second goal to make it 3:1.
A few minutes later Cameron split the defense with a great pass for Josh. The Grangemouth goalie saved Josh's shot but Alec knocked the rebound in. West Park are having a great spell. Nothing is getting past Ross and Aiden Biondi in defense. Josh then gets his hatrick a few minutes later with a shot into the top corner. 5:1 and the game looks over.
But Grangemouth fight back and Aidan has to pull off a great double save to stop them scoring. He can't stop their next attack though and they make the score 5:2. Shortly afterwards the score is 5:3 after West Park go to sleep and allow their midfielder to run with the ball up to the edge of the box and score.
Big Alec's shouts from the side line seem to wake West Park up and Martin and Nathan both go close shortly after. Jack comes on for the last 5 minutes to play up front and was unlucky not to make it 6 goals for the second week in a row. It ends 5:3.
