In the beginning.....

Like most of the current Soccer Sevens teams at West Park, the team started off with boys graduating from our Soccer Academy.

In the summer of 2010, academy graduates like Nathan, Lewis & Pierce were joined by Billy, Marcus and others and the team was formed.

As the second 2002 team formed by the Club (the first running under the guidance of Gary Cuthbert), the team was named West Park United (Navy), a nod to our traditional club colours of white & navy.

Coached by Charlie Mackey, and assisted by Gordon Molloy, the team is looking forward to it's first season in March 2011 when they will join the Central Scotland Football Association.
